Feltouch and Collaborating Architects Win Big at IF Design Award

The Modular Acoustic Lighting product, designed by Boris Berlin, has received the IF Design Award 2025 in the lighting category of product design. This modular system merges acoustic performance with sculptural lighting aesthetics, and stands out for its adaptability to various ceiling structures and spatial needs. Balancing performance and visual identity, the design serves as both a bold architectural feature and a functional acoustic lighting solution.

This recognition is made even more meaningful by the creative vision of the architects and designers we’ve had the privilege to collaborate with. Several interior design projects featuring Feltouch products were also awarded in the competition. These projects highlight a holistic approach to space—where visual elegance and acoustic comfort go hand in hand.

The awards were presented on Monday, April 28th in Berlin, where designers and projects received well-deserved recognition. We’re proud to have contributed to these outstanding achievements.

Let’s take a closer look at the projects that received honors.

HAN Spaces Workspace

Toros and Partners

Designed by Toros and Partners, HAN Spaces reimagines the essence of traditional inns with a modern coworking approach. Spread across five floors and 4,500 m², the space is designed to foster collaboration, well-being, and productivity. Natural materials, abundant daylight, indoor greenery, and flexible working zones come together to create a dynamic environment that encourages social interaction and focus.

To support both the acoustic and aesthetic needs of this vibrant workspace, a variety of Feltouch products were implemented:
Zigzag panels were used to manage volume acoustics, Make Up Divider helped define flexible working areas, Zebra and Bowl added visual rhythm and acoustic control, while Make Up Lighting and Baffle systems provided effective sound absorption and functional lighting.

Good Job Games Office

Jeyan Ülkü Mimarlık

Located in central Istanbul, the Good Job Games office spans two low-rise residential buildings, presenting a unique challenge: how to design a dynamic workplace without losing the comfort of a home-like environment. The aim was to create a campus-like atmosphere that reflects the young and creative spirit of the team. The interior design by Jeyan Ülkü Mimarlık focused on flexibility, comfort, and vibrancy — with open lounges, informal meeting zones, and collaborative work areas.

Feltouch developed a custom closed grid ceiling system exclusively for this project, addressing both acoustic needs and visual coherence. Together, these elements supported the creation of a well-balanced, modern work environment.

Amadeus Office Interior Design

Udesign Architecture and Altun Architects

Amadeus Office was designed with a modern architectural approach, where large open spaces, hard surfaces, and high ceilings posed potential acoustic challenges. To address these issues, Feltouch’s sustainable and aesthetic acoustic solutions were utilized. Award-winning lighting solutions, such as Ripple and Bowl from the Sparkle Collection, provided focused and soft lighting, while also improving the office’s acoustic performance. For wall solutions, Chevron from the Tiles Collection and Octopus panels from the Decosound Collection were used, enhancing sound absorption and minimizing noise. Additionally, Tuana and Tuana Lighting integrated into the False Ceiling Systems added a simple and modern touch while further elevating acoustic comfort. The collaborative effort with Udesign and Altun Architects ensured that the office not only looks stylish but also provides a productive and comfortable environment for its users.

We are pleased to have supported all the architects and teams involved in these projects and congratulate them, wishing them continued success in the future.
