As one of the sponsors, Feltouch joined the 16th National Acoustic Congress and Exhibition to present its work and research on acoustic materials and design.
The 16th National Acoustic Congress and Exhibition, themed “Working Sounds,” was held on November 6–7 at Kadir Has University, organized by the Turkish Acoustical Society. Feltouch was among the sponsors of the congress.
On the first day, Melika Özer, designer and design coordinator at Feltouch, gave a presentation introducing the Feltouch product family, projects, goals, history, and applications.
On the second day, Design Center Manager Tuba Keseci Erkurt delivered a paper presentation titled “Performance of Recycled Fiber Acoustic Panels Compared to Raw PET Felt (12 mm Plate): Effects of Porosity and Fiber Structure on Acoustic Behavior.” On the same day, D1&D2 certified Acoustic Consultant Aslı Kılınç also delivered a paper presentation titled “Evaluation of Speech Intelligibility in Restaurants: Effects of Speaker Placement and Speaker Quality.”
