KidZania Case Study Presented at IDCET 2026

Presenting the KidZania case study on integrated acoustic comfort in interior design at IDCET 2026, Antalya.

IDCET 2026 – International Interior Architecture Congress and Exhibition took place on 12–15 February 2026 in Antalya, Türkiye. The congress brought together academics, designers, and industry professionals to discuss innovation, technology, and the future of interior architecture.

At this international platform, Feltouch Design Center colleague Aslı Kılınç, acoustic specialist and interior architect, presented the paper titled “Integrating Acoustic Comfort into Interior Design: A Case Study of KidZania Children’s World.” The presentation explored how acoustic strategies can be seamlessly integrated into interior design to improve spatial quality and enhance user experience in complex entertainment environments.

Through the KidZania project, the study demonstrated how high ceilings, active zones, and dynamic spaces require carefully planned acoustic solutions. The research emphasized the importance of combining design vision with technical performance to create balanced, comfortable, and functional interiors.

We thank the organizing committee for hosting this valuable and inspiring event and for creating a platform that encourages knowledge sharing within the design community.
