The protection of personal data is of great importance to FELTOUCH YAPI TASARIM SANAYİ TİCARET ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (“Company”) and is among our top priorities.
One of the most important pillars of this approach is our Personal Data Processing and Information Policy (“KVK Policy”) available at https://www.feltouch.tr, together with the Personal Data Protection and Processing Information Notice for Job Applicants prepared in line with this policy.
Therefore, by applying for a position at our Company, you are deemed to have read and accepted both texts.
Information
Dear Applicant, due to your job application, the personal data of a general nature provided by you in the “Job Application Form” may be processed without requiring your explicit consent in cases where:
- The data has been made public by your own will
- Processing is mandatory for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right
- Processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of our Company, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms
In these cases, your explicit consent is not required, provided that processing remains limited to legitimate purposes.
Apart from these exceptions, the processing of your general and especially sensitive personal data
(whether fully or partially, through automatic or non-automatic means, as part of any data recording system)
is only possible with your explicit consent.
Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data provided in the job application form are processed for the following purposes:
- Evaluating your suitability for the position applied for or other open positions
- Assessing your compatibility with corporate culture and workplace practices
- Establishing communication with you
- Contacting your references and obtaining information about your professional background, experience, performance, qualifications, communication skills, and overall profile
- Ensuring workplace and operational security
- Determining salary and fringe benefits
- Identifying potential benefits that may arise for your family members or dependents due to your employment
- Determining legal and administrative procedures required for employment based on your nationality
- Meeting future workforce needs through a candidate pool system
- Obtaining limited health information and emergency contact details to be used in case of an emergency during your presence at the workplace
Data Security and Storage
Our Company takes reasonable and appropriate technical and administrative measures to protect your personal data
against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or deletion.
Data are stored in secure physical environments and/or on secure servers.
Health-related data may be shared with first aid personnel and healthcare professionals only in the event of an emergency occurring while you are present at our workplace.
If you provide personal data regarding your relatives, family members, dependents, or references, you are responsible for confirming that such individuals are authorized to give consent and for obtaining their explicit consent regarding the processing of their personal data.
Data Retention Period
Since one of the purposes of processing personal data is to meet future workforce needs through a candidate pool system, your personal data will be retained for a period of 2 years, even if your job application is unsuccessful.
Your Rights
You are not obliged to provide explicit consent for your job application. You are not required to answer questions you prefer not to respond to, and sharing all data, including your photograph, is entirely at your discretion.
Only the information voluntarily shared by you will be taken into consideration during the evaluation of your application.
However, it should be noted that your data may still be processed under the legal exceptions stipulated by law.
Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data, you have the right to apply to our Company at any time to:
- Learn whether your personal data are processed
- Request information if your personal data have been processed
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether data are used in accordance with that purpose
- Know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad
- Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data
- Request deletion or destruction of personal data
- Request notification of correction, deletion, or destruction to third parties to whom data have been transferred
- Object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively through automated systems
- Request compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing of personal data
